Customer & stakeholder magazines
Corporate communications, employee newsletters, customer magazines. Polywrap protects larger formats; paperwrap adds a premium finish for key stakeholders.
Polywrapping or paperwrapping – which is right for your publication?
Biodegradable Polywrapping
Our standard wrapping method – protective, cost-effective and 100% biodegradable. The clear finish shows your cover design through the wrap, preserving brand and front-page impact.
- Cover visible through wrap
Design impact preserved from letterbox - Most cost-effective wrap option
Lower material cost vs paperwrap at equivalent weight - 100% biodegradable as standard
Not standard polythene – our poly degrades naturally - Suitable for most publication sizes
A5 up to A4+, light to medium weight
Paperwrapping
A premium, fully recyclable wrap – kerb-side recyclable by recipients. Growing in preference among organisations with strong sustainability commitments. Feels more substantial in the hand.
- Kerb-side recyclable
Disposed of in standard household recycling - Premium tactile quality
Heavier, more substantial feel – signals quality - Overprint capability
Address and messaging printed directly on wrap - Supports ESG reporting
Increasingly required by member body sustainability policies
Not sure which to choose?
Both methods work best when the finished wrapped piece is under 240mm × 165mm and 100g – the threshold for the most cost-effective postage rate. Our team will advise on the best option for your publication’s size, weight and sustainability requirements. All advice is free, whether or not you place an order.

Greener mailing. Without compromise.
We know that membership organisations, charities and publishers increasingly need to demonstrate environmental responsibility to their audiences. Our biodegradable polywrapping is standard – not an upgrade – and paperwrapping offers a fully kerb-side recyclable alternative.
Beyond wrapping, our Portsmouth production facility is one of the most energy-efficient mailing houses in the UK. Nearly 100 solar panels generate up to 80% of our own electricity. Our Konica Minolta digital presses use Simitri® HD toner, which fuses at lower temperatures and makes paper easier to recycle. If sustainability is important to your organisation’s reporting, we can provide the production data you need.
Solar-powered production

Biodegradable poly as standard
Every polywrap mailing uses biodegradable film – not standard polythene.
Lower-temperature toner
