Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We plan despatch to your specified date, working backwards from when pieces need to arrive. The key variables are print lead time and the quality of your data file. Brief us as early as possible and we will give you a realistic production schedule.
Yes. While we don’t print directly onto polythene, we can print on paper carrier sheets enclosed with the brochure. These can be fully branded and laser printed with promotional images or other personalised content. In addition to the brochure and carrier sheet, we can insert up to eight generic or personalised inserts.
Yes – we can hold stock at our Portsmouth facility between campaign waves. This is popular with customers such as estate agents, who often maintain a bank of brochures for new instruction mailings on request.
Polywrapping is cost-effective, protective and shows the cover through the clear film. Paperwrapping is heavier, feels more premium and is kerb-side recyclable – a growing preference among professional services firms and organisations with sustainability reporting requirements. We advise on which is right for your print specification, communications objectives and budget.
We wrap brochures up to A4+ format and can discuss at brief stage which size may be best for your needs. For instance, while polywrapped items that meet the standard letter size threshold have a lower standard per-item postage costs than larger and heavier items, they do not qualify for Mailmark discounts due to the limitations of Royal Mail’s machinery.
