A prospectus is one of the most significant printed pieces a university or school produces, and often the heaviest, which is exactly why polywrapping is the standard delivery format for A4 multi-page prospectuses. It protects the print investment in transit and keeps postage costs competitive.
We work with admissions and marketing teams across the education sector, handling enquirer databases under ISO 27001 certification. We offer a free data audit to highlight quality issues. If you request a data cleanse, costs are itemised and data used solely for your despatch. Production is timed around your application cycle, whether that’s a September clearing mailing or a January deadline push.
The process, end to end
1.Enquirer data audit
Send us your enquirer database. We can run a free GDPR-compliant data audit including suppression checks, address validation and deduplication before print is committed.
2.Print
Large runs are printed in-house via Bishops Printers using litho printing. For shorter runs or departmental versions we use digital printing.
3.Wrap and personalise
Wrapped in recyclable poly or paper. Polywrap carrier sheets can be laser printed to include personalised images and text or simply addressed using inkjet printing. Paperwrap can be supplied branded but not personalised beyond address details.
4.Timed despatch
Despatched to your chosen date and timed around UCAS deadlines, open day schedules or clearing periods.
GDPR and student data
Enquirer databases include personal data collected through UCAS, website forms and open day registrations. We are ISO 27001 certified and process all data in full compliance with GDPR. We can sign a data processing agreement if required by your institution’s data governance policy.

Most A4 prospectuses fall in the 80 to 200 page range, which puts the finished wrapped piece well above the 100g Large Letter threshold. We advise on the exact postage band and cost at brief stage and flag any opportunities to reduce postage through format or paper weight adjustments.
